Founder and President
Momin Ahmed is an Indian-American entrepreneur and global activist. He is studying at Hinsdale Central High School and has received the United Nations Association of the USA Ambassador Award for service and leadership relating to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Momin has amassed an audience of over 50,000 across social media platforms and his work has been profiled on the front page of the Chicago Tribune as well as Apple News, Google News, Yahoo News, NewsBreak, Illinois School Network, Global News Insights, Hinsdale Township District 86, and more.
He’s also received multiple national and international awards relating to Model UN and global affairs.
Momin is the Founder and President of Model UN Academy, one of the world’s largest educational Model UN nonprofits with 20 chapters worldwide. Through Model UN Academy, Momin has provided free, original Model UN resources to over 14,910 students from 213 high schools across 48 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and 34 countries in 104 languages. He has also been named a Delegate to the Model UN Summit 2025, where he interacted with dozens of United Nations delegation representatives and UNA-USA executives.
Model UN Experience:
Momin has participated in Model UN since 2019 and has attended 10 conferences (4-time international qualifier) and won 5 awards (1 international and 1 national). He is also the Co-President of Hinsdale Central High School's 114-person Model UN program.
Momin is the Executive Director, Deputy Secretary General, and Founding Member of DuPage Model United Nations (DUMUN), a local conference that hosted 74 middle and high school delegates in April 2025 and raised $4,830 for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the World Health Organization.
